About HPACC
HPACC is an international research consortium and was established to meet the clear need for answers to key health policy and clinical questions relating to cardiometabolic diseases globally. We search, obtain and harmonize nationally representative survey data on cardiometabolic diseases with a focus on low- and middle-income countries (LMICs) to close existing research gaps.
HPACC dataset
Nationally representative, population-based surveys pooled at the individual level.
Surveys were conducted from 2005-2019 and most surveys are WHO STEPS surveys.

Universities
HPACC is a collaboration of more than 80 physicians, economists, and public health researchers from more than 30 countries. The leadership team comes from Harvard University, Stanford University, the University of Göttingen, Heidelberg University, the University of Birmingham, and the University of Edinburgh.
